Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

We're in the town of Ubud which is lush and verdant and full of rice paddies, monkeys, temples and singing Hindus. I think I'm in love and I think I might use all the space I have left on both of my digital cameras while we're here. Ubud is a town on the island of Bali in the country of Indonesia.
We stayed our first night at the Gayatri Bungalows and although it looked like a place out of legend we were left wanting more with the state of our room. We moved the next day to Nani Homestay, which I took to be an auspicious sign, and we're staying here for another 2 nights. If anyone wants to stay in Ubud I highly recommend this place. It's charming AND brand new all for $15/night for a double bed with a fan and hit water. Ahhhh, amenities.
We're off to the beach in a couple of days. Hopefully we find someplace comparable. I'll try to write more. In the meanwhile enjoy the photos.
