The adventures begin...

Travelling around Vietnam has always come with a safety net because I live here. It's sort of been the 'beaten path.' Now I'm off to 4 new countries. Time to leave my beaten path. I leave for Laos tonight. I'll be there for about 7 days. Then I'm off to Bangkok, Thailand for about 4 days. Then Kuala Lumpur, Bali and Singapore. Haven't figured those out yet, but I'm excited! 

The one with an amazing pool and hopefully amazing BBQ buffet.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:00 to 9:00 pm the Sunrise Hoi An Beach Resort has a BBQ buffet. For about $25 it's unlimited seafood and BBQ foods. We haven't eaten anything since breakfast in anticipation of this event. The people here are so nice. We came earlier with the hopes that they'd let us use the pool or private beach before the BBQ and the manager was amazing. He gave us a tour and told us to feel free to use the facilities until the BBQ. We did make a reservation beforehand so that may have lent some legitimacy to us just showing up and asking to use the pool. Im so excited for sushi!!!! And lamb. :)
