Travelling

I know I haven't posted AT ALL in what feels like years. Here's a list of what's new:

1) I'm officially jobless and homeless for the 2nd time in 2 years. Of course since I've chosen this path there is no need to feel sorry for me. Plus, I'm technically not homeless because I've got too much family to ever be without a place to live.
2) I'll be travelling for the next 6 weeks. I absolutely can't wait! Today is my first stop. I'm currently waiting at the airport for my flight to Da Nang. Da Nang is a coastal town in central Vietnam. It's the place I wanted to visit first when I started researching Vietnam. I'm excited to finally be going there. I'm going to rent a bike and find the most isolated/beautiful spot on the beach and say there for 2 days.
3) I'll try to post every time I visit a new spot. Happy and safe travels to me!!!

I'm back...

...and I have been for about two months now. I know I have a ton of write-ups to post and I promise to get to it but what it comes down to is my love of procrastination. I'm not sure how I manage to be successful in life, and some may say that I'm not, but things get done and they're done with style, which I think counts for a lot.
I promise to post on New Delhi/Agra/Jaipur, India; Sihanoukville/Koh Rong, Cambodia; the rest of Vietnam; Luang Prabang/Vientiane, Laos; Bangkok/Pattaya, Thailand; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Bali/Gili Air, Indonesia and Singapore. I might be able to finish by the end of 2013.
In the meanwhile, here a few pictures to tide you over.

Our pool at Gayatri Bungalows in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia.

Breakfast in Ubud.

Rolling hills and verdant pastures in Ubud.
Sunset along a tributary of the Mekong in Luang Prabang, Laos.
Dinner along the river in Luang Prabang.

Me having dinner along the river in Luang Prabang.
Hanging out during our Mekong River tour because we refused to pay outrageous prices to see another dark cave. Even if they were the famous Buddha Caves.

Kuang Si (or Kuang Xi) Falls in Luang Prabang. Every bit as beautiful as the photos.
